Dijon, France

Overview
Location & Accommodation
This spacious accommodation is located close to Dijon in Longecourt-en-Plaine. The two story apartment has three bedrooms and a fully fenced in yard. The apartment is attached to the host their home, but you still have lots of privacy. We had a very lovely stay here and the dogs absolutely loved the garden. The owners also have a dog who came to play with ours for a little bit. The apartment is located in a lovely small town with lots of nice walking trails close by and it's roughly a 25 minute drive to Dijon.
Overall experience
We stayed at this AirBnB for two nights in mid August and truly enjoyed our stay here. The outdoor space is great in summer, we really enjoyed having our breakfast in the sunny garden. The apartment is very modern and truly has everything you need. We loved the overall look of the apartment, especially the drawing/painting of what we thought was their dog in the apartment and the brick wall. The beds were also very comfortable and the rooms were quite spacious. We saw the owners once, they didn't speak much English, but were super friendly and relaxed. We only spent a limited amount of time here, but could have easily spent more days here!

Indoor space
The apartment has a full kitchen and comfortable living room on the first floor, including a very spacious bedroom. On the second floor you will find two more bedrooms and the bathroom. Dogs are not allowed to go up to the second floor. A separate toilet can also be found on the first floor. In order to reach the apartment you do have to go up the stairs from the garden. The apartment is very clean and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook meals. There's a dining table in the living room, but you can also take a seat at the bar at the kitchen.
Outdoor space
We absolutely loved the outdoor space. We spent a lot of our time outside and really loved that the dogs could be off leash in the garden. There's a small picknick table where we enjoyed having breakfast. On top of that you will also find two lounging chairs in the garden, which are perfect to just relax in. The garden is very spacious and perfect for dogs to play in.

Dog friendly amenities
Facilities & area
The house is great for a trip with dogs due to its fenced in garden and its spacious living room. We did bring all of our own supplies for the dogs. From the accommodation you can easily go for some nice walks in the area. We walked through the town one evening and walked along the water one morning and the dogs really enjoyed sniffing around. It's a rather peaceful town.
Pet policy
Dogs aren't allowed on the second floor, but other than that there were no specific rules. We brought two huskies and let them know in advance we would be bringing them and they were very welcoming. Of course cleaning up after your dogs in the garden is expected.
