Overview
Location & Accommodation
This is a beautiful and very spacious house in close to Arvika and Glaskogen Nature Reserve. We stayed here at the end of August with our three dogs and had a wonderful 2 nights here. The house is located on the property of the owner, but you have lots of privacy. The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay and you can even take a nice walk from the house down to the water through the forest. Our dogs really enjoyed being in and around the house. They especially loved the sheep that came to greet us from time to time in the field next to the house.
Overall experience
We stayed at this AirBnB for two nights at the end of August and had a very lovely stay. The house is located on a large property with access to the water. There's a lovely path that takes you there that we took on arrival day to get some energy out of our dogs and they really enjoyed the walk. The house itself is also very spacious with multiple bedrooms and a nice living room on the upper floor. Everything is in very good condition and the house is well stocked and decorated.

Accommodation details
Indoor space
The house has two floors with a kitchen and dining space, a bedroom and very modern bathroom on the ground floor. You will also find an extra bed in the entrance room next to the bedroom. On the first floor you will find a spacious living room and two extra bedrooms. In the hallway you will also find an extra toilet on the ground floor. Keep in mind that the staircase / hallway is not very well insulated, but if you keep the doors close the living spaces stay warm. We spent most of our time indoors either at the dining table or in the living room upstairs, which has a very comfortable couch. Here you will also find a TV and the house also has WiFi. Bed linen are provided and you can make the beds yourself & take it off again when you leave. The house should also be left in the state you found it when checking in, which means doing the cleaning yourself!
Outdoor space
The outdoor space is really nice! There's some outdoor furniture and a bbq, which we didn't end up using as the weather was not good enough. But we still very much enjoyed walking around the property. It takes about a 10 to 15 minute walk to get down to the water and the walk through the forest to get there is really nice. We also loved the sheep in the field next to the house, our dogs were looking forward to spotting them out of the window every morning.

Facilities & area
The cabin had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay! The beds were comfy, the kitchen had everything we needed to cook and we had very relaxing evenings in the living room. There's a town, Kil, about a 20 minute drive from the house which has several stores, a big supermarket and some restaurants. You will also find a smaller supermarket closer by, but we did all of our grocery shopping at the bigger supermarket in town before checking in. As the house is located close to Glaskogen Nature Reserve, going for a hike here is definitely recommended! It's absolutely beautiful and well worth driving to (1 hour drive).
Pet policy
I don't recall having to pay extra for bringing my two huskies along for this trip. We did bring all our dog supplies ourselves and made sure to clean up after them outside and properly vacuum inside. With all the access to nature and outdoor space, this really is an amazing dog friendly stay.
