Overview
Location & Accommodation
This is a beautiful and modern cabin in very peaceful surroundings. We stayed here at the beginning of September with our three dogs and had a wonderful stay here. The house is located on a spacious property right next to the forest. The accommodation has everything you need for a comfortable stay and you can even take a nice walk from the house through the forest and down to the river. Our dogs really enjoyed being in and around the house. We brought some long leashes so they could hang out outside with us and they absolutely loved it.
Overall experience
We stayed at this AirBnB for five nights and had a very lovely stay. The house is very well designed with three bedrooms and very modern bathrooms, which we really loved. The basement has also recently been renovated, so everything is very new. There's plenty of space outside with a large open space right in front, perfect to play with your dogs. It's a good spot to relax and enjoy the nature. We even spotted some moose here during our stay! And on a clear night, stargazing next to the fire is definitely recommended!

Accommodation details
Indoor space
The house has two floors with a living room, kitchen and dining space, a bedroom with ensuite bathroom on the ground floor. The living room has a comfortable couch with a TV, which we didn't actually end up using (it's a good spot to disconnect from technology a little!). The kitchen also has everything you need to cook meals. In the basement you will find two extra bedrooms and a full bathroom as well. Though upstairs it can get warmer quicker, the basement was definitely a little more chilly. But you will find a heater here to warm you up. The house does not have a WiFi connection, but you can pay to get connected via Starlink. On top of that, the house does not come with bed linen, but you can rent these as well.
Outdoor space
The outdoor space is really nice! You will find a large table on the porch which was perfect to enjoy some meals during the warmer days. Furthermore, our dogs really loved just chilling in the grass on their long leash (please do keep your dogs leashed as there is a wildlife very close by). One of the things we also really loved about this accommodation was the fire pit. On our last evening we lit the fire, relaxed in the chairs and just gazed at the stars, you could see so many of them! You can also walk from the property right into the forest.

Facilities & area
The cabin had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay! The beds were comfy, the kitchen had everything we needed to cook and we had very relaxing evenings in the living room. We did all of our grocery shopping in Torsby (30 min drive) before checkin in as there's multiple large supermarkets here, but you will also find a smaller supermarket in Stöllet (10 min drive). In Torsby you will also find more stores and multiple restaurants (the sushi restaurant is really good!). There are lots of really nice hikes close to the house such as Fämtleden, Brattfallet and several options in Hovfjallet.
Pet policy
I don't recall having to pay extra for bringing our three huskies along for this trip. We did bring all our dog supplies ourselves and made sure to clean up after them outside and properly vacuum inside. With all the access to nature and outdoor space, this really is an amazing dog friendly stay.
